Dawn is a certified Hatha Yoga Teacher trained in the Kripalu Tradition.

She had been involved in sports and physical activity all her life, but always felt that something was missing. It was in the year 2000 that she discovered yoga in Montreal, where she soon realized the potential for spiritual fulfillment that she had yearned for.

In 2005 Dawn traveled to South East Asia where she visited a Buddhist monastery and completed a Vipassana meditation retreat. When she combined both Hatha yoga and Buddhist meditation, she felt profound results and an intense happiness that she immediately wanted to share with others.

Upon her return to Montreal, Dawn began a Yoga Teacher Training with Hart Lazer. Since then, she has been continuing her Yoga education, studying with exceptional teachers such as Maalaa for Kids’ Yoga, Kelly McGrath for training in the Kripalu tradition, and Janice Clarfield for Pre-Natal Yoga. Additionally, Dawn has just started an 18-month Mindfulness Yoga and Buddhist Meditation Training Program based at Spirit Rock in Woodacre, California, lead by reknowned teachers such as Jack Kornfield and Stephen Cope.

Dawn has a big heart, which is always evident through her contagious smile. She is generous, down to earth, and always makes her students feel welcome and at home.

She looks forward to sharing her passion for yoga with you. |

Fanou Lanciault is a certified hatha yoga instructor trained in the Kripalu tradition and a professional actress. An astute observer of the body’s physical and emotional possibilities, she studied in dance, martial arts, physical training, writing and acting. After graduating from the National Theatre School of Canada, she dove into yoga, that united her two great loves: body and soul. Curious, dedicated and passionate, she channeled all her energy into deepening her knowledge. A self taught yoga practitioner for six years, she felt the need to take her personal practice and her love of teaching (she also teaches acting) to the next level by doing the teacher training program at JOY OF YOGA STUDIO. Becoming a yoga teacher was the inevitable continuity of her personal and professional path and the ideal opportunity to share her imagery, her vision and her passion.

Being part of Fanou’s classes, offers you the opportunity to work on your breathing, your postures, and relaxation… But, first and formost, it is mostly to work on yourself, with your own heart, swept away by the positive energy, both strong and soft, that she brings into her lessons. Serenity is garanteed.

Leah R. Vineberg is a Certified Hatha Yoga Teacher, trained in the Kripalu tradition. Leah has been practicing yoga for about 12 years. Yoga, meditation and chanting have become vitally important aspects of Leah’s life and it is through regular personal practice that Leah re-aligns with her heart and strengthens her spiritual path.

Leah believes in holding a space for the “Whole Self” to find a home on the mat, expanding our orbits to include and integrate all of our physical, mental and emotional goings-on on any given day with an attitude of spaciousness and true kindness towards ourselves. Healthful breath and alignment provide a beautiful foundation to practice yoga in safety and in confidence. Through asana practice we come home to the present moment where we may learn to lovingly move with whatever energies surface so that we can experience more and more peace, freedom and joy, both on and off the mat.
