An introductory class, offering a detailed approach to learning beginner Kripalu Yoga postures, breathing techniques and relaxation. Appropriate for new students, and all those looking for a gentle class reviewing the basics of yoga.
Beg. /mod. is a transitional class for beginner students into the moderate level. Here we start to explore moderate postures in great detail. Students will often request which posture to focus on that day, and occasionally we have posture clinics. Vinyasa (flowing postures) will be introduced. Prerequisite: Beginner Kripalu Yoga.
At this level, we explore how to hold more advanced postures for longer periods of time, and learn how to coordinate breath with your body’s movements. Guiding your awareness inward, we pay attention to body and mind sensations; activating a deeper sense of compassion and awareness. Meditation is offered to compliment relaxation.
A dynamic, flowing class, great for experienced students looking to explore the deeper practices of Kripalu Yoga. Experience new vitality, increase strength, endurance, balance and flexibility. Meditation in motion and seated meditation are offered to compliment relaxation.
